Carmela will be one of our models on Saturday. She is 5 years old and suffers with a rare muscle wasting disease called LMNA Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. It weakens every muscle including the heart and lungs, shortening her life to around 16 years.
Carmela continues to fight to stay mobile and loves life to the full. One of her wishes is to be a fashion model. She loves posing and dressing up and certainly loves the attention. Carmela has been signed up with a disabled model agency since February but has yet to be booked for a job so taking part in Bristol Fashion Show is a really exiting opportunity for Carmela.
